Our Story

Hi I’m Maryann DeRose,

I have been around the music business for the better part of my life, while I am not a musician, 
I  have a deep affinity for the art on all levels.

My partner John has entertained audiences for his entire life, in every venue that 
you could imagine. Huge arenas, small theaters, private affairs, and intimate affairs. 

His talent exceeds your normal expectations.  

I’ve witnessed John’s craft stem from humble soloist to becoming employed by
private and worldwide talent agencies. He has always remained loyal to them 
throughout.

Being more entrepreneurial myself, I have always been curious about the possibility of 
developing my own agency.

Soaking in knowledge by observing John navigate the industry first-hand, I am now ready to bring
 my years of culminated business experience to my passion project.

I’m truly excited about the potential and future of this passion that I proudly introduce as:

It is my belief that music makes people happy by connecting with them on
 a deeper emotional level.

One melody leads to a tapping foot, snapping fingers, clapping hands, 
and then ultimately all out dance.

Songs are made to be heard and enjoyed.

Thus, MDR Bookings mission is to bring you and your people: pure enjoyment.

While some lyrics can bring tears, you can be relieved by dancing in the arms of that 
certain someone and be taken away.

In the end, music is a form of art and all art is interpretive.
